Things That I Know

1.  These naughty little wontons sound scrumptious!

2.  This frozen yogurt whip recipe screams "Hold onto summer and never let it go!"

3.  I'm in love with this idea of a no-cook homemade BBQ sauce.  Eliminate preservatives, man!

4.  It's almost Ugg season!  Yippee!!! Oh yes I do wear them.  Not with skirts.  But with about everything else.  I don't care what you think.

5.  That means it's almost FOOTBALL season! Go Bobcats!!

6.  Speaking of football....maybe these quinoa burgers would be a good tailgating choice?  I'm gonna give 'um a whirl.

7.  Stay tuned next week for a giveaway from the infamous SAUCE Headwear!!!

  1. I printed off the recipe for the Quinoa Burgers. They sound yummy! I do have a question though. I teach and am heading back with the kiddos on Monday. I normally eat breakfast between 6-6:30 am and my lunch time isn't until 12:40!(last year it was 10:30 am) I do have 5 minutes between classes, and wanted some ideas for something quick, filling, and healthy that won't impede my weight loss progress that I could have for a morning snack so that I am not starving by 12:40 and want to eat everything that isn't nailed down. Any suggestions? I'm not a picky eater and love fruits and veggies, but am looking for something new. Thanks!

    1. Hi Ellen! I would suggest having an extra big breakfast (will aid in your metabolism) and have a mid-morning snack of fruit (switch it up for something new! Melon is really filling!) and water. Or maybe a hard-boiled egg or 2% Greek yogurt if you need something more. How does that sound? Good luck with your weight loss!
